Our Story
Owner Luis Urgiles started working in roofing as a self-contractor in 2004 and spent many years in the industry. He started with smaller projects, eventually branching off into starting his own business. Mega Construction of CT LLC is a local roofing contractor that has grown into one of the most trusted and professional businesses in Waterbury.

Luis (the owner) and his crew provided services above my expectations. Luis answered the phone on a Sunday, I had roof damage and a leak during a storm. Luis was out 1st thing monday morning. Luis explained the work that needed to be done on the roof very clearly and answered all questions.
Luis was very helpful with knowledge of working with insurance companies, provided documentation and met with the insurance adjuster. Once we were ready to move forward, the crew arrived in 2 days. All products and dumpster were delivered on time. The installation went very smoothly and well into the night. The crew showed up as planned, polite, smiling, got right to work, very organized and cleaned up, everything, daily. The condition of the plywood under the shingles was not good. They were able to immediately address the situation. All work was completed on time. I would absolutely recommend Mega Construction, very easy to work with.

Mega replaced our 30 [+] year old roof on a 53 year old house. Luis was very prompt and professional throughout the entire process. His truck is immaculate a telling sign of the quality of the work to be performed. My wife & I, in our general home building company constructed over 130 homes. When considering a sub-contractor his personal appearance and that of his vehicle were a demonstration of the type of work we could anticipate. Everything Luis said he was going to do, happened as planned. HIs crews were hard working, pleasant, and attentive to our needs. Every evening they stayed late to be sure the site was completely cleaned up & all materials collected and stacked together ready for the next day. My wife, Jane, and I would highly recommend Luis to our friends, family, or anyone who would contact us. I belong to a men's group that meets weekly for an hour. Instead, they patched the damaged area and even checked the rest of the roof for free. Honest, responsive, and professional—highly recommend them for any roofing repairs!
